This Privacy Policy explains how the Hamrohim app collects and protects your personal data.
What data is collected
We collect the following data: name, email address, profile photo (avatar), age, gender, short description (bio) and an optional Telegram handle. We also store the posts, comments and messages you create. In addition, we collect device push notification tokens, last-seen time, and basic technical and log data.
Purposes of use
We use your data to provide and operate the service. We also use it to show your profile and posts to other users, enable connections and chat. In addition, data is used to send notifications and to keep the platform safe, moderate content and prevent violations.
Legal basis for processing
Processing of your data is based on your consent, which is given when you accept the terms. The necessity to perform the service you requested and compliance with legal requirements also serve as a legal basis. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account.
Sharing and processors
Your profile and posts are visible to other users. Your data is not sold. It is shared with service providers (processors) who operate the app's infrastructure and safety tools: cloud hosting and media storage, automated image and text moderation providers, and the push-notification provider.
Automated content moderation
The content you create (posts, comments and messages) is checked by automated systems and artificial intelligence for compliance with our safety rules. These systems may reject or restrict prohibited content (for example, 18+ material, violence, unlawful offers, or seeking a companion of a specific gender). For confirmed serious violations, an account may be banned automatically. Reports are reviewed by a human within 24 hours, and you may contest a decision by contacting the app administration.
Cross-border transfer and consent
The app's servers and some processors are located outside the Republic of Uzbekistan. By accepting the terms you consent to your personal data being transferred abroad and processed there with appropriate safeguards. Please give this consent only with a full understanding of this condition.
Data retention
Your data is kept while your account is active. After your account is deleted, the data is removed or anonymised. The exception is cases where the law requires retention.
Data-subject rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data. At any time you may delete your account, withdraw consent, object to processing or restrict it. You may contact the app administration with privacy requests or complaints, and you may also lodge a complaint with the competent state authority.
Security
We use modern technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Nevertheless, we remind you that no method of data transfer and storage is 100% secure. We continuously strive to improve security.
Children's protection
The app is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Accounts of users under 18 are removed when discovered.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
